Activity Description: Communications support for 20+ mile FAGES II Boy Scout hike.  Event starts / finishes at Camp Herms in the Berkeley Hills; and goes over trails in Wildcat Canyon and Tilden Regional Parks.   Between 50 and 200 Scouts and adult leaders participate.
What will be expected: Hams staff check points along the trail, and check in and report participants by Troop. Early checkpoints are shorter duration.  Net control may at the lunch stop until all participants have cleared that point, and transfers to the checkout point for the final participants.   Hams may volunteer as radio equipped sweeps. This is not a Marin ARS sponsored event.
NOTE: Due to the wash-out on Rifle Range Road Fire Trail, the 2017 hike will start and end at the Alvarado Staging Area off Park Boulevard in Richmond.  Some stations may change, or be added or eliminated.
