Activity Description Communications support and / or sag support for the Marin Century bicycle event. The ride courses cover roads in Marin and southern Sonoma Counties. There is a 62 mile and two 100 mile routes. The start and finish is in Stafford Lake Park, 3549 Novato Blvd., Novato, CA.
What Will Be Expected

1500 cyclist are expected. Hams staff fixed rest stops along the course, and communicate supply requests, sag requests, riders needing assistance, and other traffic to Net Control. Non-radio and Ham Sag drivers patrol the course, monitoring the progress of the riders, and provide mechanical assistance and/or transportation to riders. Sag drivers may be asked to ferry supplies between rest stops. Ham motorcycle patrols monitor the course, and provide safety information to Net Control. Sag and patrol drivers will need to sign up on the event’s volunteer page for fuel reimbursement. Please supply your t-shirt size, when signing up.

Start times from 6:45 to 9:00 AM.  The course closes at 6:00 PM

Please use and respond to your tactical designator.
If we utilize trackers, Net Control will monitor their progress.
Sweeps will close the course, staying behind the last riders.
