Activity Description: |
Peak Hike have beautiful 7-mile and 11 mile round-trip fundraising hike routes through the iconic Marin Headlands, all to benefit the Breast Cancer Prevention Partner’s work to prevent the disease. Walk with your friends and family, form a team, or come solo and make new friends on the trail. Each step you take will help eliminate the environmental and other preventable causes of breast cancer.Hikers enjoy an organic breakfast and lunch, massage, and healthy-living expo where you can learn how to protect yourself and those you love by taking action for prevention. Don’t forget to pick up your T-shirt and bag of goodies from our event sponsors and partners in prevention! |
What will be expected: |
You will arrive at your assigned location at your assigned time. See duty assignments for your time. You will check in with net control and report your status. You will identify yourself to the event personnel at your site. You may expect to relay messages between the event personnel and the start. You may be asked to render assistance to the event personnel. Some operators may be asked to sweep participants from the course or be asked to ride with event personnel while they are sweeping.
