Pre-event Briefing: Thursday, August 03, 2017, 19:30 on the 146.700 MHz repeater.
What will be expected: 2000 cyclist are expected. Hams staff fixed rest stops along the course, and communicate supply requests, sag requests, riders needing assistance, and other traffic to Net Control. Non-radio and Ham Sag drivers patrol the course, monitoring the progress of the riders, and provide mechanical assistance and/or transportation to riders. Sag drivers may be asked to ferry supplies between rest stops.  Ham motorcycle patrols monitor the course, and provide safety information to Net Control. Sag and patrol drivers will need to sign up on the event’s volunteer page for fuel reimbursement.  Please supply your t-shirt size, when signing up. There is a mass start at 05:00 for the 200 milers, and the course is scheduled to close at 22:00 in 2017. Marin Century Locations
