San Francisco Dolphin Club
Overview: The Dolphin Club Escape From Alcatraz is the original “Escape” triathlon. The commercial event grew out of that format, but the Dolphin Club and the South-End Running / Rowing Club decided to return to a smaller club-only event.

| All stations are to announce arrival of the numbers of the first five runners as they pass through (in both directions). | |||
| All stations advise Net Control of the numbers of the final runners (in both directions), and arrival of the sweeps. | |||
| We have described the station locations as best we can. Station locations may change from year to year. The equipment recommendations are based on previous experience. Volunteers should be prepared for changing conditions. | |||

Fire road comes up from Steep Ravine. The Dipsea Trail crosses the fire road 1/4 mile south, towards Steep Ravine. Runners may use both paths. |
