Activity Description: For a regular event, communications and sag support for the Davis Bike Club’s Davis Double Century, a two hundred mile bicycle ride.   200 miles in one day!  YARS and other radio clubs provide support for this bike ride that starts and ends in Davis, via Clear Lake.  Net Control, 10 Rest Stops, and lots of SAGs and Patrols.
What will be expected: Hams staff fixed locations and pass communications to net control, including supply requests, sag requests, and reporting the arrival of non-ham sags.  Ham Sags patrol the course, monitor rider progress, assist riders as needed, transport riders as needed, and ferry supplies between fixed locations.  Please supply your t-shirt size, when signing up. This is not a MARS sponsored event, but several Marin hams volunteer, and we get volunteer support for some of our events from YARS members.
