Activity Description:<\/td>\nCommunications support for The Relay, a 200 mile tag-team run from Calistoga to Santa Cruz that benefits Organs-Are-Us.\u00a0 Teams of runners take turns running sections of the course, with the remaining team members being transported\u00a0between exchange points in vans.\u00a0 Runners pass through Marin County between 15:00 Saturday\u00a0and 06:00 Sunday.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
What will be expected:<\/td>\n\u00a0This is not a MARS sponsored event.\u00a0<\/strong>Hams from several counties monitor the progress of teams and runners between exchange points.\u00a0 Ham volunteers may be asked to control vehicle\u00a0traffic into and out of exchange points, control crowds, or perform other non-radio volunteer functions. This event supports Organs-R-Us.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
