To All,
On behalf of the Davis Bike Club, I want to thank you all for turning out and helping to make the 2022 Davis Double Century a success after its 2 yr. hiatus. About 270 riders started the ride around 0500 and only about 7 elected to take a ride all the way back to Davis. The last riders returned around midnight.
The saddest news of the day was late that night learning of the passing early that morning of Doug KF6AKU scheduled to be SAG12. He had been a long time SAG, rest stop, net control volunteer and a mainstay of the Marin Amateur Radio Society.
Thank you all again for turning out and hope to see you at the Foxy’s Fall Century 3rd Saturday in October.
