We can’t rely on 15dB SNR and 20% LQ. It won’t work, especially when you turn LQM with a min threshold of 50% LQ. Of course, the bib tags had their pros and cons. Some tags end up in the wrong place, of course, and updating the spreadsheet via radio
This is the answer to item 7a below: Button A selects Band A; button B selects Band B. Therefore band switching can be done from the microphone and there is no need to touch the display. I tested this on my FTM-400 and it worked; however, it does not work
No surprise that this event showed the benefits of MCBC excellent planning. We had a couple of riders make an incorrect turn, so they ended up behind the sweeps. This often happens. Other than that, however, every rider, including those last few, made it to the finish line smiling. Next
