Preparation for Amateur Radio License: Technician Class
13 Class sessions on Saturday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30am with the 1st session on September 12, 2015. Classes will be conducted at the Alvarado Adult School, 5625 Sutter St., Richmond, CA 94804. This class is intended to prepare students who do not hold an existing Amateur Radio License, for passing the FCC examination for Technician Class Amateur Radio Station and Operator License. Topics include: FCC regulations, radio communications, radio equipment, and establishing/operating an Amateur Radio station. The final session of the class will be an examination session conducted by Volunteer Examiners for a fee of $15.
