MDARC and SATERN have announced a General Upgrade Class in Concord, CA:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ham Radio Course Forming Now!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Salvation Army<\/span><\/b> together with the<\/span><\/p>\n

Mt. Diablo Amateur Radio Club<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

will be holding an 8 week course where you can upgrade<\/i><\/b> your Amateur Radio License<\/b> to <\/span>General Class<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The General Class license is your gateway to all the world-wide Amateur bands of excitement and Emergency Communications on Ham Radio\u2026and you do NOT need to learn Morse code!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This course is to upgrade<\/span> your current Technician License<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Course begins on\u2026<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Thursday August 6th <\/sup>to <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

September 24th<\/sup> at<\/span><\/b> 7-9 pm<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Salvation Army<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Registration is required<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Class is FREE but there is a $7 materials fee and Textbook if needed about $27.\u00a0 <\/span>Each student must have full access to a copy of the text<\/span>.<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

License testing will also be available.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
